Highlights from the Dealer Success Seminar

Since the inception of the Universal Windows Direct Dealership Program, an annual "Success Seminar" has been put on by the corporate office in an effort to help the attending dealerships plan for their next year, ask questions and facilitate the exchange ideas and strategies with fellow dealerships. Last week, Universal Windows Direct wrapped up it's 2015 Success Seminar. Aptly named, the seminar truly was a huge success. Here's a look at what happened throughout the week.

Through a serious amount of snow, bone-chilling cold, and heating system that refused to work properly, Universal Windows Direct officially kicked off, "The Year of The Team" last week with the 2015 Dealership Success Seminar at the Marriott in downtown Cleveland.

The seminar set sail at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7th, with a speech from William Barr, Universal Windows Direct Co-Founder & CEO and this video...

"It was almost like there was this crazy energy in the air...everyone was really excited be there", said Christopher Dysert, VP of Dealership Development. The first day's activities included new, exclusive product presentations, a state-of-the-industry speech from Bob Hiner of Alside, as well a presentation on how to master the Universal Windows Direct selling system from the corporate offices' highest-performing sales associate. After the seminar had concluded for the day, attendees were invited to the Universal Windows Direct corporate showroom for a "behind the scenes" look at showroom and dinner. Our dealers from the Twin Cities and Dayton

Day 2 included a morning presentation, detailing the implementation, effective use, and features of Universal Window Direct's brand-new, exclusive lead-management software, presentations from the corporate office's IT and digital marketing teams, as well as an instructional presentation that outlined how to effectively market at tradeshows, confirm leads, and build and manage a winning-marketing team; "the Universal Windows Direct way". A fun-filled Thursday ended with an evening of dinner, cocktails and good company at The Cleveland Chop in Cleveland's Warehouse District.

The final day of the 2015 success seminar began with an intense goal setting session where seminar attendees mapped out their business plans and strategies for the new year, setting long and short term goals along the way. With the afternoon came the theme of leadership, as it included leadership activities and a motivational presentation from comedian, Steve Mazan, as well as an awards/closing ceremony where Universal Windows Direct of Philadelphia was named "Rookie of The Year", Universal Windows Direct of Cincinnati took home the "Most Improved Dealership" award, and Universal Windows Direct of the Twin Cities was crowned, "2014 Dealer of The Year".

All in all, representatives from 17 different dealerships around the country attended, marking a new milestone for Universal Windows Direct Dealership Program.
